Michael Brady (aka Brady Michaels) is an artist, photographer and designer based in lutruwita/Tasmania. His diverse practice uses analogue and digital tools to explore his lifelong interest in history, places, people and culture.

Michael's art projects often reveal insights about his own life and society more broadly. He has produced creative work for a wide range of outcomes including exhibitions, installations, publications and products.

"My creative work is a mixed bag of ideas all related to the experience of being human in a complex and ever-changing world. I often use personal and public archival materials and 'remix' them to tell stories in artworks, as well as documenting the world around me as it see it."

Michael is a proud member of the LGBTIQ+ community, a survivor of stage four melanoma and lives with CPTSD; all of which inform his enthusiasm for creativity and life.
