SIGNS OF AUSTRALIA
2017

My photographic series Signs of Australia was published as a book with New South Books, which I also designed and art directed. I manage a Signs of Australia Instagram account, and am in the process of designing a dedicated Signs of Australia website and new brand identity.

ISLAND MAGAZINE 
2013-2015

For Island, I designed a new brand identity and format, upscaling and repositioning the printed magazine in the broader publishing marketplace. I designed and art directed twelve issues, including typographical work and typesetting. I also curated the art/design section and contributed photography and illustration for several issues. The identity, format and layout has remained the magazine's design template.

MELBOURNALIA
2013


I was Creative and Marketing Director for a Melbourne-themed retail store, which represented 50+ local makers and designers. I designed numerous visual identities before establishing a permanent brand identity in 2013, with associated website and online store, collateral and in-house products.

I created a new brand identity, signage and style guide for the Counihan Gallery In Brunswick, as well as designing several exhibition catalogues.

ARCADE PUBLICATIONS
2007-2014

 

I was Creative Director and designer for Arcade, a boutique non-fiction publishing house established by myself and three others in Melbourne. I art directed and designed eight books and managed marketing and communications.
